The International Symposium on Ocular Trauma (ISOT) 2025, held in conjunction with the SOE 2025, took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 7 to 9 June 2025. This prestigious joint event brought together leading experts, clinicians, and researchers in the fields of ocular trauma and emergency ophthalmology from around the world.
The symposium featured a wide range of scientific sessions, keynote lectures, and panel discussions covering the latest advancements in diagnosis, management, and treatment of ocular injuries and emergencies. Participants engaged in interactive workshops and case-based learning sessions aimed at improving clinical skills and decision-making in high-pressure settings.
The event also provided an excellent platform for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge among professionals committed to enhancing eye care services, especially in urgent and trauma-related cases.

The symposium opened with a dedicated dry lab video session, showcasing surgical techniques, case studies, and clinical approaches in ocular trauma management. The session allowed participants to observe and discuss key steps in trauma surgery through high-quality video presentations.
